The Republican boutique lobbying shop known for its financial services work officially changed its name Monday to include the addition of new partner Jay Cranford and is now Clark Lytle Geduldig & Cranford.
Cranford joined the firm in May after five years working for House Speaker John Boehner, most recently as a policy assistant. He’s focused on building the firm’s energy and technology practice. This summer the firm registered Koch Companies and Encana Oil and Gas.
“It was our plan (to rename the firm) from Day One, but we wanted to make sure we would enjoy working together. Obviously, we do,” partner Steve Clark told the Alley.
The firm, which launched a redesigned website on Monday, has doubled its revenue since its formation in 2008, bringing in $1.7 million so far this year, according to the Center for Responsive Politics, a group that tracks money in politics.
